While we encountered a few hiccups, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel's family-friendly offerings. The Kyll bicycle route runs right by the hotel, a great option for biking enthusiasts! We hired bikes and explored nearby trails, which the kids loved. Our meals were delightful; the kids especially enjoyed the fresh Spätzle at breakfast. The hotel staff were attentive and well-organized-when we had a tick mishap after hiking to the ice caves, the owner promptly provided us with tweezers, saving us quite the headache. Though the rooms are cozy and the hotel is a bit older, our experience was enjoyable, making it a solid choice for family vacations.
